How we handle returned leads

The most common reason for a bad leads is that a consumer didn’t give accurate contact information when on the Internet, or an over-aggressive marketing affiliate provided bogus leads in an attempt to earn more commissions. We fully expect that you’ll have some of these leads get delivered to you---and we want you to know that you’ll never have have any problem returning them for credit.

So, in order to protect you, we have a liberal returns policy that allows you to get credit for leads that are bogus or that have no way to establish contact with the consumer.
Returning a lead for credit is easy. Simply enter the lead number and the reason for return in the Lead Returns section of your account. You’ll have sufficient time to attempt contact with your leads since we allow you up to 20 days to report a lead you wish to return.

As a lead buyer, you must understand that while we do use our best efforts to generate leads for you that answer the phone immediately, that are friendly, healthy and want to buy exactly what you sell, this is not realistic. You must evaluate us and all lead providers based on the ability to deliver as many sales as possible for the money you spend. Typical reasons that you cannot close a lead are:

1.) The consumer just does not answer their phone, or;
2.) The consumer many have already purchased from another agent, or;
3.) The consumer has decided to wait, or;
4.) The consumer’s health or financial conditions have changed
5.) The consumer does not want the company/coverage/pricing that you quote.

It is often helpful to consider that a lead is a consumer that has or had an interest in purchasing insurance now or in the future that also can be a valuable referral to other relatives, friends, business owners that could and would purchase your product, ever lead becomes important.

We constantly work with Insurance Companies and agents to improve their closing rate with our leads and we find that the number one reason that agents leave the business or that do not do well is that they do not continually follow up with a consumer. Those agents that consider that each person evaluates their insurance options a few times a year, will statistically make much more money than the agent that makes one call and never calls a lead back to see if their situation has changed.

4.) The contact name is obviously bogus such as “Mickey Mouse’, “Boo Hoo“, etc.
5.) The address is obviously bogus such as “123 main” or “1 Nonya Business”, etc.
6.) No one at the contact number speaks English.
